Fort Worth, specifically, is the perfect, all-inclusive family spring break destination.
<?xml encoding="UTF-8"><?xml encoding="UTF-8">
The place is not only famous for its BBQ, stockyards, and rodeo, but it also has an amazing cultural scene. Spring temperatures there are milder than in the rest of Texas; sometimes it’s even chilly!
<?xml encoding="UTF-8"><?xml encoding="UTF-8">
But that’s okay since there are plenty of things to do in Fort Worth—whether indoors or outdoors. You can see real Texas cowhands drive a herd of Texas longhorns down East Exchange twice a day. Cowtown Coliseum also has a Rodeo show every Friday and Saturday.
<?xml encoding="UTF-8"><?xml encoding="UTF-8">
Further, Fort Worth has a wonderful zoo, but my favorite place to visit is the Japanese Gardens inside the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens. It is such a hidden gem! And usually, in March, the cherry blossoms start to bloom, making it a great place to stop for an afternoon.
<?xml encoding="UTF-8"><?xml encoding="UTF-8">
All that aside, if you’re on the hunt for a sunny, sandy spring break location, head down to one of the many islands in Texas for a spring break that will trump most others.
<?xml encoding="UTF-8"><?xml encoding="UTF-8">
Priya Vin – Outside Suburbia
<?xml encoding="UTF-8"><?xml encoding="UTF-8">
6. Akumal, Riviera Maya, Mexico
<?xml encoding="UTF-8"><?xml encoding="UTF-8">
With accommodation for all tastes, ranging from independent boutiques to all-inclusive, Akumal works both as a vacation destination in its own right and as a base to explore the area’s highlights.
<?xml encoding="UTF-8"><?xml encoding="UTF-8">
Whilst in Akumal, I recommend you check out the ruins of Tulum, the eco water park of Xel-Ha, and the wider Yucatan peninsula.
<?xml encoding="UTF-8"><?xml encoding="UTF-8">

<?xml encoding="UTF-8"><?xml encoding="UTF-8">
Akumal’s key attraction, though, is snorkeling with turtles in the turquoise waters of the stunning tropical bay.
